Secondary stats are equally uninteresting as you either want or ignore CDR and afterwards will stack CC/CHD for the majority of builds with only a minority favoring attack speed at all. Defensive stats are overly simple and the lack of any capped stat leaves only diminishing returns and relative value as the only factors worth considering (trivial). Primary stats provide way too big of a bonus to damage universally and trivialize gearing while leveling, completely undermining the experience and turning it into a meaningless chore (that you have to repeat every new season). I'll do my best to list some of the significant problems that still exist with the game, their significance, and whether they were ignored or actually worsened over time. It's common to hear people say that removing the AH and RoS release massively improved or even fixed the game, but I disagree. ![]() They would never change the story for D3 because that's not feasible, but the systems in the game are really terrible and should have been overhauled. I don't blame JWilson and Diablo 3's bad initial design, but the fact that they never fixed the game is what bothers me.
